“It’s not about quick fixes, but about a person truly healing and finding their way back to who they were, before the world told them who to be.”
Life isn’t always smooth sailing. It comes with ups and downs, and at times, it can feel lonely going through it on your own. Yashee believes that people are stronger together, and that taking care of others is only sustainable once you take care of yourself. As a clinical psychologist, she guides individuals on a journey of self-understanding, self-love, and empathy; helping them explore what’s been weighing on them and finding ways to support themselves in a long-term manner.
Through her clinical training in both hospital and private settings, Yashee has worked with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. She supports clients in navigating emotional, behavioural, and life challenges by helping them build insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and feel more grounded in their everyday lives.
In her work, Yashee draws from approaches such as CBT, ACT, psychodynamic, narrative, person-centred, and eclectic therapy. She also enjoys incorporating creative expression, including art and music, into her sessions. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to a person’s individual needs, as she aims to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
