Nurizzati Shamsuddin

Nurizzati is a child psychologist who provides initial developmental assessments,
developmental milestone screenings and early intervention programs for children.

She has worked closely with special needs children since 2019 and has experience
working with children with autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, speech delay and
other developmental disorders and learning disabilities.
Using a holistic and
multimodal approach, Nurizzati believes that there is no “one size fits all” method to
learning, and “if a child can’t learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn.”

She graduated from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) with a Bachelor in
Psychology (Hons) and completed her Masters in Child Psychology from UCSI
University. She is proficient in both English and Malay.

Nurizzati believes every child is capable of learning given the correct method and
approach. She hopes to build and expand her career in this field and increase
inclusivity in the community for special needs children. She also believes that
educators must nurture and assist the children to realize and reach their full
potential.
